I don't normally do "chat" threads as I am here to trade but I am curious...What is the most you ever spent on a card and what was it? Look forward to hearing what you guys come up with. I know there are some big timers out there.

For me a bought an eight patch bc I thought it would book for alot and I would be able to use it in a huge trade but it booked at only $150 and I spent $118 to get it. I blew it big time but oh well...expensive lesson learned. Check price guide before purchasing.

I think the most I ever paid was $100 but that was for the 1994 SP Die Cut baseball set. I was really only after the A-Rod which books for about what I paid but was able to keep it in the set.
