It has something to do with your computer or device. I'm not sure what. I have the same issue on one of five computers I've checked on. It is fine on all of them but the one that shows the same icons. They never show on that one computer.

Wow, I cannot imagine my 6-year old HP desktop having an issue!   Big Grin

RE: Zeprock Collection - zeprock - 05-05-2021

Moving through the years to a new decade today. I did not have a baseball relationship with my Dad. He wasn't interested in the game and could care less about my cards. When I played ball in school, it was a nuisance for him to pick me up after games so often I had to bum rides with teammates or the coach. It wasn't until a few years before he passed that he began to take an interest in baseball. After wintering in Gainesville, Florida a few years, he started attending some spring training Tigers games in Lakeland. Around that time he gave me a box of beat up cards that a tenant had left behind in one of the apartment buildings he managed. Those were the only cards I ever got from my parents. I lost my Dad in 2010 to pulmonary fibrosis. He was in Florida for the winter and never came back home. My youngest sister and I flew down to see him just before he passed. He was 71. Here are nine of my cards from 2010.

2010 Topps #409B Richie Ashburn SP (A veteran short print from 2010 Topps.)
2010 Topps Chrome Blue Refractors #165 Derek Jeter
2010 Topps Factory Set Wal-Mart Mantle Chrome Gold Refractors #1 Mickey Mantle
(Another Mantle bonus that came in my Topps Factory set. I've always liked to pick up the factory set for the bonus cards.)

2010 Topps Heritage #411 Andy Pettitte/Jorge Posada/Derek Jeter/Mariano Rivera (The Core Four. This card has skyrocketed in the past year. I pulled it out of my "2010 commons box" to scan it and then sleeved it and put it in my fireproof safe when I was done.)
2010 Topps Heritage #469 Derek Jeter AS SP
2010 Topps Peak Performance Relics #RHE Rickey Henderson B

2010 Topps Sterling Legendary Leather Relics Five 10 #LLR12 Carl Yastrzemski (This card was one of five cards given to me by a very generous Beckett member who was extremely pleased with the signature graphic I designed for him.)
2010 Topps Sterling Legendary Leather Relics Triple #LLR17 Johnny Bench
(Another card I got from former member dbrookard. Derek made his own HOF packs out of cards that he was disposing of and he put four HOFer cards in a pack including one relic card (total bv over $100 I believe) and sold them for $25 each. I bought two packs and this card was in one of the packs.)
2010 Topps Tribute Autograph Relics #GC2 Gary Carter

RE: Zeprock Collection - zeprock - 05-07-2021

Roberto Alomar was just in the news the other day, not for good reasons, and look who popped up next on the randomizer. When I first started to collect cards in 1970, It seemed like I pulled more cards of Robbie's dad, Sandy, than any other player. I had a bunch of his cards. Roberto and his brother, Sandy Jr. were both decent ballplayers but it was Roberto who became a 12-time All-star and his 10 Gold Glove Awards are still the record for second basemen. He picked up a couple of World Championship rings with the Blue Jays and was the first player to feature a Blue Jays cap on his Hall of Fame plaque. I remember him spitting at an umpire early in his career and thought that was disrespectful but it was forgotten by most after a few more years of stellar play and didn't hinder his induction into Cooperstown. The other day he was banned from baseball following an independent investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct dating back to 2014. Do you think they'll pull him out of the Hall or has he been "grandfathered" in? He's a member of my 1000 card club as I currently have 1146 different Beckett recognized cards of him of which here are nine from my collection.

2005 Reflections Super Swatch #RA Roberto Alomar (On my last post of 2010 cards I featured a Johnny Bench card that I pulled from one of two "packs" made up by dbrookard. Coincidentally on this very next post, here is the card that I pulled from the second "pack" I bought. This contains a "super" swatch of material and features Robbie with the Devil Rays, a team he never actually played for.)

RE: Zeprock Collection - Phillies_Joe - 05-07-2021

Never liked or respected him. Don't think he will be pulled out of the hall as the hall should be for a player's accomplishments on the field - everything else should be notated. Funny as there hasn't been much said about his ban. I guess nobody really cares about him.......

RE: Zeprock Collection - zeprock - 05-08-2021

I haven't done a post on food-related issues in a while so today I am showing off nine more cards that came from restaurants.

RE: Zeprock Collection - zeprock - 05-11-2021

Another milestone reached as this thread has surpassed 30,000 views. Thanks for coming along on the ride with me through my 50 years (now 51) of collecting. I've only a decade's worth of cards yet to show year-wise but still lot's of players that I collect.
The next player that I collect that came up on the randomizer is Cleveland great Bob Feller. Feller was a fireballer who bypassed the minor leagues and began pitching for Cleveland at the age of 17. He was signed for one dollar and an autographed baseball. His marvelous career included leading the A.L. in Victories six times and Strikeouts seven times. He was an eight-time All-star who threw three no-hitters and 12 one-hitters, both records at the time of his retirement. He won the pitching Triple Crown in 1940 and a World Championship ring in 1948. His nicknames were "Rapid Robert", "Bullet Bob" and "The Heater from Van Meter". Feller lost four prime years to military service. I have 226 different Beckett recognized cards of Bob. Here are nine from my collection.

1st - congrats on your 30,000 milestone!

Love your Feller cards!  He is second only to the Babe in my book.  His is the only HOF auto I have - a signed baseball.  Always wondered why he doesnt get more love in the collectable industry - I guess because he has a bizzillion auto's.  Would have liked to have met and had a conversation with him in person.
