Making Trade Offers is Getting Tough - snobles - 02-21-2016

I am finding it more and more difficult to put trade offers out there as on multiple occasions I have looked and I have a card FT that someone has marked as a want, they have a card I have marked as a want but yet they decline the trade.

Maybe it is the shipping costs for the USA traders but most of these have been with CDN traders.

Anyway, I know people have the right to trade with who they want and for what they want but it just seems odd to mark cards as wants but not want to trade for it.

Let's get some deals done people, I hate paying for this service and not getting to use it.

It is hard finding trades I agree it is shipping costs to Canada for me its over 9.00$ to ship up there it has to be a big trade for it to happen.

Just keep trying. Sometimes I just find a person completely randomly and a trade works out beautifully. However, I always have my go-to traders from my Favorites I can count on for an honest assessment.

$9.00? Do you live in South America?

I would love to trade with members but I am not set up for it. I have no interest in listing all my cards and paying to trade.

That's worse than I thought. I guess when I go to the PO with multiple packages I just don't notice. Wow.

I'm not collecting hockey or any sports cards for that matter at the moment....but to be honest I would probably never go back to hockey collecting (at least not packs/boxes) because a big majority of hockey collectors are in Canada and I don't see how it's worth the insane postage costs to ship there. I know the USPS has to do what they have to do to make money, but it just kills the ability to trade with others from another country.
