OT BGS Grading - photowiz1 - 03-24-2014
Just a quick question, saw in a certain someones thread a card that was graded a BGS 8.5. The sub-grades were, 9.5, 9.5, 8.5, and 8.5. Shouldn't this card be graded a 9 and not an 8.5. My assumption was that they take the average of the sub-grades, is this not correct. Nothing really important, just curious. Thanks in advance.

i believe each sub carries a different importance. usually the overall grade will only be .5 over the lowest sub but i have seen cards a full grade over the lowest sub or in your case graded the same.
