Does the 2012 Topps Platinum Mark Barron rookie autograph exist? - walker rs - 04-13-2013

I absolutely love last year's Topps Platinum set. I am currently trying to complete all parallel sets. As for the base rookie autograph set, Beckett.com shows there are a total of 35 autographs that make up this set. I only need two more to complete the rookie autograph base set! 1.) Joe Adams ( which is a redemption that I have been waiting on for what seems like nearly a year-I was told they are out for signing so hopefully I will get it soon.

This means all I would need is the Mark Barron base autograph # 143. I have seen the lower serial numbered parallels, but I have not seen a base rookie auto anywhere!!.

Does anyone know if this Card even exists or how hard it is to get one is it does?

I see a "2012 Topps Platinum Rookie Autographs Refractors #143 Mark Barron" in the checklist on here, so yea I guess it does exist. It's not serial numbered and it's auto'd

I haven't seen any, but then again it's probably not something I would notice if I had. What is interesting is that there aren't even redemption cards for it. So maybe it doesn't exist. Beckett gets their checklist information from the card companies, and those are not always accurate. And for some reason some players in that set do not have the base RCs or even all of the parallels. Chris Polk, for example, whom I do look for, does not have the base but does have the Gold /10, Purple /25, and Red /5 versions (according to Beckett - I've only seen the Gold myself), as well as the various 1/1s.

Actually I found some discussion (from January) on the ebay message boards about the Polk cards. You might try messaging the OP on this one to see if he knows of a Mark Barron.

Anyway good luck with the search.
