So I just bought one of those hard to get cards the 1996 Studio Silver Proofs (100 made) now its down to 3 and I am hoping to get it to 2 and maybe 1 before the years out. So my needs list looks like this now.
1996 Select Certified Mirror Gold #100 Derek Jeter
1996 Upper Deck Diamond Destiny Gold #DD28 Derek Jeter
1996 Zenith Artist's Proofs #93 Derek Jeter
And I am at 104 to go for his 1997 collection (94 if you take out the 1 of 1's that I will probably only see pictures of) I believe I am doing really well with the 1997 collection. It's going to be a challenge still but I have nothing but time on my hands and I believe I have one of the best Derek Jeter 90's collection around.

When it rains it pours as within hours of paying another Studio Silver press Proof gets listed on ebay for buy it now of $395.00. I grabbed that as well so now I am really done for the rest of the month or till I sell more cards.

As far as your question the 1996 Select Certified Mirror Gold #100 Derek Jeter there are only 30 in existence and the last one sold for about $4,000.00 this summer and before that that same card was sold in 2010. The 1996 Upper Deck Diamond Destiny Gold #DD28 Derek Jeter one sold summer of 2011 to a buddy of mine named John and I was the second highest bidder on that and none have popped up since. Now the 1996 Zenith Artist's Proofs #93 Derek Jeter will be semi reasonable but it has also been a year since it last popped up on ebay or any other site. Now the good news I know where 17 of the 30 Mirror Golds are but none of them are selling it right now. I know where 2 of the Diamond Destiny Golds are but there not selling it either and if I remember right 4 for the Zenith Artist's Proof and none are selling them either. You probably wondering how I know where so many of the Mirror Golds are it's because I did my homework on them and found and talked to all the owners. The others it just so happened I know them for searching and waiting for people to leave feedbacks only to message them on ebay so we can work some deals and trades.

It's really tough but I am moving in the right direction so since June I knocked my list from 5 to 3 so it's alright though I have a feeling I will be stuck on 1 for a long time (Mirror Gold) but even at that if I can get the rest besides that I am sure I would be one of the select few who have accomplished that as well.

I was hoping I would open this to find you got one of the mirror golds. Same amount of progress nonetheless. GREAT JOB!! Im pulling for you man, save that money and be ready to sell if one of the golds pop up.
