My Slightly weaker than CrimeDawgs Henderson PC Update 12/29 - quavis - 07-31-2012

I thought I had a large quantity of Gerald Henderson autos, but when I broke them out and compared them to Crimedawgs, I realized I have some work to do. Although, I am still satisfied with what I have so far. So here it is.

I'm dipping my toe into the fray here. Mine is more open to all Bobcats, but Henderson seems to be the longest tenured actual draft pick at this point, so if you're looking for Bobcats stuff, his would be the best looking and most Bobcaty. I have started a mini-collection of his stuff. I also want Kemba, eventhough there are only like 3 of his McDonald's All American cards out there, only one auto for sale on the Bay and that guy is crazy, even though it's graded, asking a ridiculous price 10 times what the non-graded cards have auctioned for. I want Biyombo's stuff too, much more reasonable, but only in the UDA line so far. Can't wait for next year's batch of cards to come out! Glad I didn't start a DJ Augustin PC!

The prices on those Mcdonalds cards are high but they always are. They are a very sought after card for almost all players who played in it. I bought a couple of the Kemba autos and base. I paid around $70 for the autos and that was before the season even started. Lots of good players come out of those Mcdonalds teams. I dont see the grade one you're talking about, but I assume hes asking around $350. Which does seem high but who knows if someone really needs it to complete the set or something. Especially if it was a 9.5. Those cards chip easy and are hard to grade high. I unfortunately, have a very large D.J. Augustin PC. I just hoope he picks up some serious collectors so I can unload my 16 National Treasures Patch Autos /25. One project I can give up on I guess sinceI lost out to one for $152! Bismack I have one Rookie F/X auto and two base autos from last year. Those were even getting pricey in the middle of the seson ($60 at one point, then $30, then $15. Not sure what theyre doin now.) Trust me my PC has plenty of Bobcats. Gerald is just my biggest. I have a TON of Mullens stuff, Tyrus Thomas, D.J. White, and a few of every player except Reggie Williams and Corey Higgins. Would love some Reggie, but he doesnt have many cards. Just picked up a few Ben Gordon and Ramon Sessions autos. I was surprised to see how much they go for though. Good luck on your PC. First, is it me por does Photobucket make a 5 min job take all day?

Ok now for the update. I got 2 more NT triple patch autos bringing the count to 18/49! Next, I found a card I liked and made an offer. I was told by the seller he also had another nice one that I have wanted since release. I just could afford it. e agreed on $85 for the pair delivered. Fair IMO. The others I see are waay to over priced. Theres a couple other additions in there also. Hope Crimedawg doesn't get mad at me for snagging a couple good ones!

I saw that Absolute Jumbo Patch pop and added it to my watch list. Litteraly the next time i fired up my Ebay ap on my phone it had already been taken down Sad

I messed the seller asking why he took it down but of course no response. I was hoping it was you grabbing it and not some clown trying to flip it Smile

IMO you got a dang good deal. The other 2 i think I got for around $40 and then for RPA's I've paid b/n 50-75 for. That patch on the RPA is nicer than anyone I got as well so added bonus there. Nice pickups! If I'm able to locate the other two jumbo patches you know who will be knocking on your door for the 5th Wink

Been kinda lonely on the henderson market for me. Havent picked up a new auto in awhile, I guess thats what happens when there are only about 9 non 1/1's left all numbered to /15 or less. Did pick up a 1/1 tag the other day, should be getting that in the mail soon Smile

I thought you would have caught that. I hate being the guy to have an auction end early for. But I couldn't resist asking. Im sure we can work something out if you find the other /5's. I always wanted both of them so I took it as a Christmas blessing. Not being able to buy more Hendersons sounds like a good problem to have since you have almost EVERY one! lol.
