guys, ebay help please - natebuzzadams2 - 05-31-2012

I know that I can't post a link to an active ebay auction, but if you guys can do me a favor search "carmelo anthony certified" there should be one that comes up that is a red autographed version that he says is numbered 1/3. When i searched the checklist, it says that the red auto version is numbered /99. the guy wont respond when i asked him if he could possibly provide another picture of the back to show that it was out of 3 instead of 99. here is the checklist

http://www.sportscardradio.com/index.php/product-previews-a-reviews/977-2010-11-panini-totally-certified-basketball-checklist

does this seem shady to anyone else? i'm not wanting to drop alot of money on something thinking it is /3 and it really be /99

I looked at the listing and I scrolled down and saw a pic of the back of the card, it was numbered 54/250 so it doesnt look like a /3 card

The card with serial $ 54/250 is a gold team card, which is not autographed.

There are two "RED" Certified cards.. an auto /3 & non-auto /499. See Beckett database link: http://www.beckett.com/search/#term=carmelo%20anthony%20certified%202010-11%20red

The red version auto is serial /3....

but I would be curious why the seller has not responded to emails...? How long did you give seller to respond? I would give 48 hrs, unless auction in less amount of time. I believe seller should check their email daily (minimum once a day) if they are selling stuff on ebay or any website.

I would recommend sending the seller another email asking about the white flakes/spots on the card. Tell them you want to verify that the spots are from the scanner & not chips in the card.

It appears the card has chipping at top of card, above Melo's head... & three chips on top right corner.... I may be wrong & it could be dust from the scanner... seller should of cleaned his scanner with electrostatic wipes & drying it before scanning cards... If I was seller, I would of posted a picture of the back of the card to show serial number....

that is a low number card that can catch a pretty good amount of money.

It's all yours as far as I'm concerned. By the way, did you get the cards I sent?

i know that you said you like maildays. in a few weeks i will be posting up my "new" pc of knicks cards. i already have 7, if i win the certified /3 then counting it i will be getting 6 more in the next week. not all autos. but almost everything that he has in a knicks uni that is not a 1/1
