For those of you that collect base of one player (as well as autos, mem, etc) how do you go about acquiring them.
I have accumulated well over 100 non-mem/autos of Calvin Johnson but it has been a slow process and I often struggle to see the value in buying a $.50 and paying $1 to have it shipped to me. Most of my base collection has come from freebies and my local card show, both of which are sporadic.
I assume player lots on that auction site are a good way to go but does anyone have any tips or tricks to get the best value for such low value cards? Are there traders on Beckett in the market for base?
Any help would be very much appreciated, thanks!
