Ok, someone explain the logic of this (obviously, this is not mine, I'm not even close to this stupid)
http://www.ebay.com/itm/NAPOLEON-BONAPARTE-MINI-DNA-HAIR-2009-TOPPS-ALLEN-GINTER-HAND-CUT-OUT-/170811345172?pt=US_Baseball&hash=item27c5264914

so the guy takes the empty hobby box...cuts out the "card"....and tries to sell it? Uh...ok? Gosh the bay offers free listings and now everyones listing all kinds of crazy stuff...but I think this has to take the cake?

Wow!!! I bet someone buys this too...they do not read and will be disappointed or they are really not bright enough to figure that they can "make" a card themselves..

Reminds me of the old Topps cards they would print on the bottom of wax boxes that you could cut out. Not valuable but still cool and at least the guy is honest in his description and not trying to fool anyone.

I see auctions all the time where people are selling empty blaster boxes and in really small print at the end of the description will say *boxes are empty and for decoration only* or something along those lines.

I'm pretty sure someone will buy it. people buy crazy stuff all the time on there these days. Like those new insert Pujols rc and the NNOF Frank Thomas that both sells for like $50+ everytime I see them. Almost makes me want to put some stuff on to sell like this but I might actually lose a nights sleep over it so it's not worth the money

I hope those have some value. I have a box full of older wax boxes intact, just for the cards.

I would beg to differ on the "not trying to fool anyone". Pretty obvious he is banking on someone not reading the description. No other reason to put something like this on eBay.
