RE: OT: Favorite Arcade game? - all day baby - 02-20-2012 Star Castle. I could play for hours on one quarter, quite literally. I knew a pattern that was practically unbeatable. I forget my high score, but I do remember having 99 lives when they pulled the plug on me one night at closing time. I actually had way more than that, but it couldn't register more than 99. They put up a card on the machine with my high score and # of lives. No one ever came close to beating my score. RE: OT: Favorite Arcade game? - txviking - 02-20-2012 Always loved Dig Dug. Time Crisis was the first arcade game I (and a friend) beat. Spent a FORTUNE in quarters that day. RE: OT: Favorite Arcade game? - vannestjc - 02-20-2012 If you want something more unique...I wonder what something like this would cost. RE: OT: Favorite Arcade game? - chads-cards - 02-20-2012 see now thats cool! I actually have been busy on my phone finding some dealers on some baseball pinball machines...most sell for 2k in working order with minor cosmetic wear...but I have a lead on one for around $600...I know of a local guy to be who has 500 pinball machines RE: OT: Favorite Arcade game? - vannestjc - 02-20-2012 Wow...here's a beautiful one on Ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1957-Williams-57-Baseball-P-B-Arcade-Machine-Animated-Runners-WORKING-/260959117632?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cc2602140#ht_1086wt_1396 But it's pricey. Used to love this game as a kid. RE: OT: Favorite Arcade game? - chads-cards - 02-20-2012 Yeah id love something like that its just hard to shell out alot when you could use that money to buy collections ha...my luck is wed drop 3k on a machine then the next day a sick collection would come in and we wouldnt be able to finish the deal...that why we want one under a thousand so its not too much buy money and it wouldnt take too long to get the money back out of the machine RE: OT: Favorite Arcade game? - chibearsboy - 02-20-2012 (02-20-2012, 10:49 PM)vannestjc Wrote: If you want something more unique...I wonder what something like this would cost. my old man had one of those baseball games in his office when i was 10..and 2 old pinball games that you could really put your hip into before it would tilt...man,i forgot all about those until i saw this pic.. thanks bro.
