Haha. Dragon's Lair was cool but it was basically watching a movie and pressing buttons at certain intervals. I couldn't get enough Double Dragon, Shinobi and 1942.

Shinobi, kung fu and karate champ were the bomb too.
Personally, I'd choose a Namco fighter. Any of the Tekken's should be easy to find and halfway cheap.
