Ebay Fake? Opinions Needed - Ducks_Fan - 12-07-2011
I have been looking to get this card since it was released. Read through some of his feedback and he sold a card he didn't even have...

With 447 feedback score looks decent but only 97.8% positive feedback...
The item description really has me asking questions. Doesn't mention what number the card is out of 25...
Please give me your opinions, hopefully someone's dealt with him.

Looking at every single other Auto for Cam Fowler I could find, this is the only one out of all of them that didn't have the really large F. On every other card even when there is a tiny space the F is much larger and more pronounced.
I would stay away.

Thanks guys, Id rather be safe and miss out on one of the top cards on my wantlist and try to pick off some other cheaper ones.

Seems ligit. Good feedback on some big items.

I think the auto is legit, I think the card might even be legit; however, why would you not say it is card #1/25 making it a clear 1/1...
Ill keep my eye on it and see what price is goes around, might make a last minute bid. If the price stays down and it turns out the guy is a fraud I will just contact the credit card company and dispute the charge. Did it once on eBay and was given a full refund.

If you look on the scan you will see that the card is 1/25. Also my rule on patches is if it looks to good to be true it probably is--are you questioning the patch or the auto?

Questioning the seller. Seen a couple patches like this from SPx of Fowler... How do you determine if its a fake patch anyways?
When you see a negative feedback within the last 6 months saying he never had the card he sold it really starts asking questions... I really want this SPx Patch/Auto but I don't wanna be screwed either...

How exactly do people fake patches? Seems like youd be able to tell right away when you got the card.
