Beautiful Smile Congrats on the logoman!!

RE: Update on project - buckunteer - 10-14-2011

hey quavis i shipped your prize out today...FINALLY lol. I have the DC somewhere around here, but it should make the whole 100-mile trek by tomorrow anyway Smile

Nothing as nice as those patches in the charlotte box I'm afraid, but if you're going for all things Bobcats (or Hornets old-school-style!) it should help a bit!

You da man! Thank you!

RE: Update on project - evanturner12 - 10-15-2011

why do you collect so many of the same card?

is it to corner the market? or are you just loaded?

RE: Update on project - crimedawg47 - 10-15-2011

When you get addicted to bobcats you get addicted to bobcats...I have almost 250 gerald henderson autos double digits of many off them

RE: Update on project - evanturner12 - 10-16-2011

I can understanding collecting a player or team, but why would you need more than one of the same card?

when youre collecting a player, each patch card, even though they are the same "card", is special in its own right, i dont see anything weird about it. the different patches is what makes the cards different imo.

Yes, I do like having a bunch of a short print run. For me collecting is a lot of the thrill of the chase. If I didn't have projects like this, I would just buy a ton of stuff just because I like it. This way, I am only searching for two types of cards (Dj national treasure and henderson 09-10 national treasure triple patch autos). I also think that it would be really cool to be the only one with all the print run of a card in the world. I don't collect for a profit, I do it for the love of basketball and the fun. One more thing, the Bobcats don't really have a ton of high end cards, especially since most of the "stars" are gone now, so collecting these cards of two of my favorites is about all I can do since I own a lot or most of other Bobcats cards made that I like. Hope this helps explain my compulsion. I guess Ill have to do an update on my henderson project that will drive you nuts if you think this is bad lol.

you can do what you wish. i just get upset when i get doubles of one card. i highly doubt you will get every card in that print run because not everyone trades/sells online. it doesn't drive me nuts because i am already nuts when i spend money on basketball cards. it just seems rather odd to me to go after an entire print run when it's next to impossible to get them all. you should just call Panini directly in the manufacturing process and make them an offer on a whole print run. It would save you a lot of time.
