I submitted 8 cards, although the 8th card was the Strasburg that I did not think would meet the minimum grade (9) due solely to centering, but it only cost $6 to grade it so I rolled the dice. I think I did pretty well:

2007 Bowman Chrome Gold Refractors Hunter Pence AU 9 9 (9 autograph grade is BS)
2007 Bowman Chrome Blue Refractors Hunter Pence AU 9.5 10
2008 Bowman Chrome Prospects Jason Heyward AU 9 10
2010 Bowman Draft Chrome Blue Refractors Matt Harvey AU 9.5 10
2008 Bowman Draft Chrome Refractors Clayton Kershaw AU 9.5 10 (the ONLY BGS 9.5 in existence)
2010 Bowman Chrome Prospects Jameson Taillon AU 9.5 10
2010 Topps Chrome Rookie Signatures Refractors Stephen Strasburg AU DID NOT MEET MINUMUM
So on the 7 cards that I actually thought would grade well I got five 9.5’s and two 9’s. Too bad the two 9’s were the most expensive 2 cards. I am selling both Pence's and the STrasburg when I get them in hand as I have some purchases lined up. I probably won't trade/sell the others but shoot me a PM if interested and we'll talk. how bad does the stras need to be to not be graded?

I assigned a minimum grade of 9, and I thought it looked like an 8 centering so it probably would have gone an 8.5 overall

Nice grades on the Pence Erik.
You should wait till after September 17 to sell it so I can gaze upon it a little before you get rid of it haas!

I actually am considering keeping the Pence Gold Refractor in hopes that he goes deep into the playoffs and plays well. It just depends on what I get for the Strasburg and Pence Blue and what deal I work out with this guy who has a bunch of stuff I want

If the stuff is anything that you have shown me before, I know it is some nice stuff that you could get in return especially if you let the Strasburg and Pence go at the same time.

On the Pence that has a 9 for the AUTO:
Is the auto sloppy? or faded? Is it a sticker and hi s name goes off the sticker? Is it inside a box and the name touches any part of the box?
I was just trying to justify why it got a 9. Any of these are reasons why an auto wouldn't receive a 10. There may be more reasons. I would need to see the card to know for sure.

The 9 auto is BS! It is none of those things. I have seen some Pence Bowman Chrome auto's where it looks like the marker was running low on ink, and it's accentuated by the way he writes his name because it always shows up in the same place (at the top of the P in Pence), similar to this one, although mine looks better:

Also- that's a BIG reason that i HATE that BGS grades the auto. I can probably find 20 Pence Bowman Chrome cards that were given a 10 for the auto that look worse than mine, there's just too much variation in what they give a 9 or 10
