3 x Variety Packs From Target - dodgytrousers - 08-01-2011
These are always fun to open.
Each variety pack contains 15 packs of cards for $9.99. Bargain if you ask me.
They are all retail packs including 2008-09 Upper Deck, 2008-09 MVP, 2007-08 Hot Prospects, 2008-09 First Edition, 2008-09 Fleer, 2009-10 Classics, 2006-07 Topps Full Court, 2009-10 Prestige and 2007-08 Bowman Draft Picks & Stars.
I grabbed three at Target today for around $30.

You did pretty well on those. 15 packs of newer stuff for $9.99 aint bad. I may have to check my Target for some.

They come in a nice plastic storage container too! They put one loose card on two sides also to entice you. Found one with a Jordan once. It was a cheap subset MJ, but I didn't have it, how could I pass that up?

I bought one of these the other day. Mine had a Jordan in it too (That's the way I justify it to my wife. :o) You did much better than I did. The best card I got was a Topps Full Court JJ Redick rc #999 (I'm a Magic fan). Other than that just a bunch of base cards.

I was pretty lucky hitting 4 or 5 Kobe inserts, so that definitely helped. Nice to also get a GU card cause you don't often see those in the variety packs.
Got a couple of packs of the 2008-09 Upper Deck that had 5 or 6 Starquest cards per pack. Some were ultra-rares, super-rares and a majestic. Do these harder to get starquest variation have any demand?
Oh, yeah, and two of mine had Jordan cards showing. They are the two Jordan base in the first scan. They are from a 2007 Fleer Michael Jordan set. Does any one know anything about that set. Was it sold only as a set?

I love getting those things! lots of packs and usually lots of inserts. Its nice to get a jersey or auto every once in a while. They are usually lower end but still nice for 10 bucks. I got a nice Yao patch and a Hakim Warwick auto out of a couple.

I only see the 2008-09 Kobe Black Starquest on your want list. I don't have that one. Were there others you needed?

I have many starquests as well, including at least 5 golds I can think of off the top of my head (Bosh, Shaq, Baron Davis, Brandon Roy, Iverson) and a Brandon Roy black as well. Shoot me a PM if you need any of mine!
