thanks guys, I haven't been posting up much on here... combination of offseaon and Venters really not having many new cards to chase coupled with pretty much hitting a brick wall on finding cards we need of his (only need one non 1/1 now) much of our funds and free time shifted back into comic books again and continuing to hunt for the Venters.
also been busy with working on two new releases for our record label I still pop on here to lurk now and again though
spring training as hit or miss as its been for us so far has me amped back up for another years of Braves baseball though!@above -- our friend down in Atlanta got the signatures for us but judging from him relaying talking to the guys each time he picked one up they all seemed to get a pretty big kick out of the backstory and they had never signed an inscription like that before/with those terms.
wife and I absolutely love it, I'm glad I thought it up when i did and I think it is a nice lil reminder of the better part of the 2011 year for the braves..when I think of that season I will think of those 3 coming in more often than not and shutting things down...that and maybe ugglas hitting streak after the abysmal first half!

glad some others like it! I will have to e-mail them over to don sutton/jim powell our radio broadcasters to check out once the season is officially underway they also got a kick out of seeing the first two and mentioned it on air/posted them up on twitter.
anyway hope everyone here has been doing good! I personally can't wait for Topps Triple Threads (the first high end venters cards!) and topps series 2 so we'll have some new Venters cards to try to get ahold of!

I don't know how many people will remember the crazy guy on here trying to sell this card... and his crazy system for pricing his cards and what he felt they were worth ended up claiming he traded it to a card shop for like $400 worth of new product... only to have it posted back on ebay again a month later asking $350 for it.
well it popped up on ebay again. from a new ebay account with a 99 cent starting bid, an account from the same city as that loon. I figured it was just him on a new account and some crazy shill bidding would go on. then after looking up the place it is actually a real brick and mortar shops ebay account they just started. won the card for $46PPD!!
arrived today safe and sound 3 down, 3 to go!

Glad you got it! I had a feeling you would get it a a better price if it was an auction. Do they peice together?

the first and last two piece together (stupid topps put them upside down in their frames though! so to put them together properly one card has to be upside down)
I haven't got to check out the new piece against the full jersey photos yet but it looks to be either the very beginning or the very end and either be the stems of half an O L on the end or the middle of the stems of the N

nothing new really since no new 1/1's had popped up... still haven't found the holiday set parallel.... but now that S2 2012 topps is out some new stuff to hunt down!
also picked up this 2010 Bowman Chrome Red Ref #/5 to go with the one we already had since the price was right! ($17PPD!)
just won this plate from 2012 series 2... only found 3 from 2011 update hoping I might be able to find all 4 of these this time

long time since I've updated this, not many new cards but picked up his 2012 triple threads - all star patch that ended today! the only downside? a friend of mine outbid me intentionally - to buy it for me for an xmas present - so I gotta wait a while till its mine haha
added a few more 1/1s this year and all the new base/parallels from 2012 topps, and 2012 topps mini
hope everyone has been doing well here! other than the random venters cards haven't really been touching much of any sports card stuff -- been too busy tying up every bit of extra money we have pouring it into the record label and 1 1/2 year old - both of which are growing right up quickly!
still always on the lookout for any Venters 1/1s, 2008/2010 colored refractors, 2008 chrome base (in quantity), and anything #/25 or less!

picked up the nicest Venters card we own I do believe...got it in the mail today! then the venters logoman pops up on ebay today also, keeping an eye on it hoping it stays in our budget .... if we can grab it would have got the two nicest cards we own of his in the same week.
