There's as much of a chance that you'll get a 9 or 9.5 as there is that you could get an 8 or 8.5.

I have heard of people doing this and finally getting a better grade. But, I have heard most times it is the same grade or worse. Grade it at least once before you decide to spend that much on it.

Depends on how you resub. If it's through a group sub and you're only paying $7 each time, sure, why not. If you're doing it for only one card at a time, then I think it's not worth it. Also, if it's PC, then I'd be alright with it after one grade.

With the amount of money you could potentially spend on resubbing, you could probably have bought one already graded at that price or a raw one that looks better with no refractor lines.

if you are wanting to have a graded one, i would sell your raw one and buy a graded one. you dont have to worry about anything in that situation.

well i have had this card for many years and want it for my PC. I have been looking on ebay and everyone graded a 9 or 9.5 by BGS or PSA 9 or 10 has refractor lines. also every other 96 topps chrome refractor i see on ebay in GEM MT grade or MINT grade has refractor lines

If thats the case, if you think it will grade high, send it in and ask them not to slab it if they believe it is below a 9, or just have it slabbed authentic if youre wanting it slabbed.

well in my opinion its should be a 8 because of the refractor line i am very pickey. but when i see all these 9's and 9.5's with all these flaws i figure it would be nice to see it in a 9 or 9.5 holder. i mean there was a PSA 10 kobe refractor on ebay with BIN for 15k and it had a huge refractor line in it

I am sure it happens sometimes when a refractor line gets overlooked, but I bet it happens very rarely. If it is for your PC, then I would assume a BGS 8 or BGS 8.5 would be ok.... if you are worried about resale value, take ping's suggestion.
