All its going to take is 1 homerun... Once he gets one out he'll put up his same MVP type numbers. He had a great spring, im not worried about this little slump. This is the media blowing this way out of proportion. If it was the middle of July different story the season just started he has well over 130 games and 500 plus at-bats to turn it around. Everyone needs to worry about the players around him and maybe look at the batting order and flip flop a few thing.

No doubt he will heat up, but I dont think they are paying him $240 million for .270-.280 average.

Not the first time we have seen a slump after a huge payday. Look at Crawford and Uggla for the first half of last year. Ugglas not Pujols for sure but he said in local media that the contract was in the back of his mind and he might of been trying to overplay to justify the contract and hurt himself while doing that. Pujols will be fine, and I think a lot of this game is mental and when he gets that 1st HR out the way he can catch fire.
