I hope you get it! Wish I knew of one so i could snag the Marino from you!!! I grabbed the /25 1999 for $125... and I LOVE it.
Trying to finish these sets:
1999 Upper Deck Strike Force Quantum /100
2000 Score Complete Players Green/ Blue
2000 Leaf Piece of the Game Preview 4th Down Isaac Bruce
2008 Premier NFL Equipment /25 John Elway

They definately show very well in person, and for 125 for the 1999 /25 is a steal.... congrats on that. That is awesome.
I dont think people realize how nice they are until they see one in person

Oh I know! If the 1997 didn't look exactly like the base card, I would have it already. And the real steal is the 2 97's I made my dad buy off eBay... You wouldn't believe me... back in 01 or 02, elway and aikman, less than $20 for the PAIR.

Holy Crap.... that is crazy... a few years back I picked up two akimans in simultaneous auctions for 26 and 27 respectively... the emmitt for 75.. I blew it though the Dunn sold for 30 and Barber for 23.. Just spent 110 on the Dunn  someone was selling a bunch at the same time and I guess they werent as popular as now..
And around four years ago, someone sold a bunch of the 98 preferred baseball ones... i wasnt going for them at the time and regret it now... Piazza, Chipper Jones, Greg Maddox and Gonzalez all for under 50... cant get them for less then 150 now. If you can even find them.. OH how I wish i could go back in time

Thats why I'm so happy I not only FOUND the 1999, but was able to grab it at the price I did. Its definitely the most I have ever spent for a non-auto, but definitely worth it.

If i get the Barry Sanders I may do a fire sale on my dupes of Marino, Elway and Rice... Until then, it is my trade bait.
BTW That Marino is a Sick Card..... I liked the look of the 99 PM set.
And as for the baseball... the Griffey Sells for 400-500 when it goes up for auction.. Glad I got one of those, plus six more... trying to put that one together as well. Here's where i am at with the bball. sold a Lofton Gold for 280 last year.. wish i kept it but too good to pass up

Thanks. If I can get the Sanders. I will only be 8 cards short of a master set. I only need 6 die cuts, bledsoe staremaster and kordell Stewart chain reaction.
