What is upper deck ice?? I cant find any info on this product. Is it just an insert set un Upper Deck Series 2??

Its a set you used to be able to buy by itself up until 2009-10, when upper deck cut back on their range of products. They are now only available in Bonus Packs inserted 1 per box in last years and this years Black Diamond and SPx.

Must be Black Diamond because SPx isnt out lol. Nah, theres like half available in Black Diamond and SPx is like "series 2" but they save some rookies for it.

UD ice was one of my fav sets of the late 90's... they stop making it when Panini came in and UD had to cut down its products produce for hockey

last year I think it was out for boxes was like 09-10 season I think but I could be wrong

Ice is a cool product, but like everyone said, much harder to come by these days.

i was at my LCS the day it came out and the owner showed me what they pulled out of the only box they had openned...and it was the Hopkins out of 99...wish i had made an offer the day i saw it as he sold it for a lot less than he could have had (500.00). I'm sure i could have worked out a trade...oh well

Damn, I loved the upper deck Ice line. Aside from the fact that it was expensive and almost impossible to complete sets, it was still majorly cool.

agree.... I was lucky growing up to open 1 box of the first year Ice product... that was a few weeks of my allowance for sure

My first box of cards was off ebay for 2008-09 Upper Deck Ice. I got 5 blaster boxes for like 80 bucks. I was so young and foolish. Back when i was younger, such things as blaster boxes never existed. So when i saw 5 boxes on ebay for 80 bucks, MAN! i was excited. Only when i got them in the mail and saw it was like 5 packs of 5 cards per box...saddened my little heart. Life lesson learned. On a plus note, the 2008-09 UD ICE was one sweet looking card. Well, Stills. Talk about BA baby, BA.
