1996 UDA Jordan SPX autograph FAKE!

1996 UDA Jordan SPX autograph FAKE!
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1996-SPx-Michael...2568d93577

How do I know?
Its all in the pen width. WAY too thick. They used a blue sharpie marker instead of the blue signature pens UDA used.

ALWAYS watch out for the "UDA cert was misplaced" ppl. Because they know it takes a while to get verification or graded, so by the time you find out its bad it may be beyound the 45 days paypal protects you for.

I dont know. The auto looks real. It may just not be UD released but more hand signed. I wouldn't mind having that card. Its funny how a hand signed auto (of course the real ones) are considered fake or not close to as valuable as the ones UD puts out. Its still Michael Jordan!

Do you realize how many fake Jordan Sigs are out there?
Then how you explain the UDA sticker?
If it was in person, the only way to obtain with a UDA sticker is VIA his Basketball camp, even there he signs with a thinner pen.

Completely different item. The SPX signatures were not signed with a pen like that.
Case in point: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1996-SPx-Origina...56467b8a6e

and

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Michael-Jordan-1...45fbd900c1
(I have this one but its unnumbered)

Now compare those 2 to the original link. Nothing alike.

If you really want to be sure if it's fake or not, email or facebook UD and ask them.

the auto looks good to me and there's the sticker. But then again, if you have a Jordan on-card auto - especially from a 90's set - I find it quite hard to believe you would lose the letter of authenticity. I would probably seal it, frame it, put it in a case and lock it away in a safe or something, lol.

I guess the only way to find out is to request a close up photo of the sticker to check the hologram, perhaps even with a recent newspaper next to it for date verification

Ebay scammers buy a worthless autograph (like a no name from 1995 Upper Deck Minor League Baseball) peel the sticker off and use that as the UDA sticker for a forged signature.
Seen it before, because UDA does not have online verification on items over 10 years old, and anything older you have to wait to get an answer on.

On top of that, if they know how to get another UDA cert, why would you not and tell the buyer to. It would only increase your resale value.
