Are you sure they have B* printed on the copyright? I have never seen one...
From the source it was a confirmed version. They have it listed as easy to find. I'll PM you the contact info and maybe someone there can provide a pic or extra copy.
Thanks, I appreciate it!

Thanks to all who have posted thus far.

Onion - thanks for the McGwire scans. I had always made the assumption that the bold logos were early in the print runs and that the cards that have other errors (McGwire, etc) existed with only the error version with or without the bold logo. I have only pulled the bold logos out of boxes that contained the errors. It makes me wonder if both versions exist with and without the bold logo, maybe it is just a printing plate with too much ink on it.

I will have to update my list at the top of this post when I have a chance.

I have 2 error/variation books at home and will add any additional 1991 Topps info I find on this thread.

Here's this green ink variation. I got it from this guy selling variations on ebay: cch_cards

The smudge is on his right arm.

i have just started to go through my collection of 91 topps and have found many variations of these errors on this thread, and possibly some more!!

only time will tell...

so far the gems are, both copys of this card (with bold back). some A*B*'s, 100 bold, a pair of E*F*, a 'ryne sandberg, (2 of) nolan ryan - ken griffey jr. - cal ripken,........ chipper jones, 2 don mattingly error cards, plus tons of minor errors. great fun. now i have to find out more about the collection to asses its value, if any.....

any recommendations?

should i get them "appraised"? (lack of a better term) rated and given a #.

whats the cost of said "appraisal"? then ill have to figure out the rest of that.

any one have any advise....

thanks T_M
