(apparently the retail sharks don't know that retail Sage blasters actually offer the best shot of pulling a good autograph out of a $20 blaster)

I see Target doesn't have them online anymore. I picked up 3 blasters, not worth posting in the box breaks section but the autographs were a blood bath. 3 autos per blaster. 9 total autographs, one was a duplicate. ALL of them were undrafted free agents!

Yep, I rarely get a good player auto out of Sage Hit Retail. The only time I did half decent was with a hobby box back in 2013.

My 3 autos this year were:
Wyatt Davis
Chris Wilcox
D'Wayne Eskridge (red) which actually has a good BV

I didn't think I'd get a top QB or anything, but I was hoping to get a couple of guys who were actually drafted. 9 UDFAs with a dupe mixed in. Sheesh!

Mine came in today. Not gonna open till the Super Bowl, when I'll be having a big box break. Unless the Bucs are in it, then I'll save it for the NEXT Super Bowl, cuz Tampa will repeat if they're in again (I think). Not feeling confident in good-cards odds, tho, given these breaks. Hopefully I get at least a Jaycee Horn card.

Sage Hit is like a lot of these products.  They have tons of players that don't merit RC's in the base set.  Yet they end up in the autograph set making it tough to get a decent player.

I was looking at the 2021 Prizm Draft Picks checklist (I don't know why since I know I will never get to open any).  There are only 60 different players in the rookies list.  101-160 are the "RC's".  Then there are 20 Crusade (161-180) and 20 All-Americans (181-200) which are all within the 101-160.  So in a sense base card-wise, the rookies you get will be good.  But for autographs there are 214 rookies in the checklist, so your chances of hitting a good rookie autograph drop dramatically.
