Wanted to reach out to the community to see if anybody has estimates on how many of these cards exist. With only one set out of a 15 per case being gold hologram it could be one of Jeter's rarer RC's.

I'm guessing there are less 1993 UD Gold Hologram Jeter's than the 1993 Stadium Club Murphy (128,000).

Anyways, I'm really getting burned out opening box after box of 1991-1992 Donruss and Upper Deck chasing even rarer inserts.

Bought a couple 1993 UD factory sealed sets recently trying to chase the gold hologram. No luck but I've only opened three!

Any information would be appreciated!

Back in 1992 I bought the complete Upper Deck factory set and it had the Gold Holograms. I just assumed that all factory sets were gold and all retail packs were silver.

1992 was the first time Upper Deck made variations in the factory sets but they are not rare, since every 1992 UD factory set has gold holograms.

The 1993 Gold Holograms are pretty rare and were randomly inserted 1 gold factory set per case.

I'm surprised you don't know about these cards!
