Here we are, back again with our howlingly exciting new piece for the Bruce C. Goaltending Museum. Don't forget to like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter.

Born on July 22, 1994 in Moravska Trebova in the Czech Republic, Marek Langhamer was drafted 184th overall in the 2012 draft. This came after playing for his junior national team in 2012 to truly get on the NHL's radar. The following season, he transitioned to North America to play with Medicine Hat in the WHL. After performing admirably for three seasons with Medicine Hat, Langhamer finally transitioned to the pro ranks in 2015-16 by splitting time with both the Springfield Falcons of the AHL and the Rapid City Rush of the ECHL. He performed well despite being in the backup role. The following season, he once again split the majority of his time in the AHL and ECHL, however, like the tales before his in the museum, his dream opportunity came. On February 20, 2017, Langhamer relieved Mike Smith for the Arizona Coyotes while facing down the Anaheim Ducks. Langhamer stopped 7 of the 8 shots that he faced in his 16 minutes of play and the team earned a 3-2 victory that day. It was to be his only NHL action that season. Langhamer appeared in one additional NHL game the following season, against Vegas. Afterwards, he ended up getting loaned to HC Kometa Brno, a Czech league team, by the Coyotes. He didn't return to North America afterwards. In 2018-19, Langhamer started the season with the same team he was loaned too, but then made his way to play in the KHL with Amur Khabarovsk. As he is only 25 years old, career stats will not be posted at this time.

What you are looking at right now is a 2016-17 Arizona Coyotes sweater worn by Langhamer throughout the season in his pre-season, call-ups throughout the season, and most importantly...his NHL debut. This piece features light wear consisting of some light puck marks on the torso and a stunning slash mark on the crest that is easily photomatched to pictures throughout the season.
