This week's race is on SATURDAY 8/18 @ Bristol - 7:30 PM on NBCSN. The cutoff time to make/change picks is Saturday 8/18 at 5pm EDT. Here are the current points standings:

I'll pick Kyle Busch for now.
There is no way the 48 goes winless in 2018. Right? This is the track for him to get it together, or he needs to start thinking about a victory lap, if you get my drift.

I'm going to take a chance on Jimmie Johnson.

Well, well, well...

I take away a few things from Bristol:

There was a whole lot of racing going on.

The stands were 50% filled for what is one of the best race tracks and best races in the series. Uh oh...

People stopped hating on Kurt Busch all of a sudden? That was a pretty big ovation...

I think Chad Knaus is way too conservative. Let the 48 run there...wow.

Kyle Busch wrecked on Lap 2, and was legit in a position to contend for the win - with a car that was caved in on the driver's side, had no rear bumper/panel, and was clipped up in the front and right side side. So, while I realize that aerodynamics might not be as critical on a short track, tell me how he did that? Really...
