Was reading driving in the DR is extremely dangerous. Truly sad.

Also, if you've never been to the DR, let me just say, it's amazing more people don't die in traffic incidents there. It is barely regulated madness.
When I think of Dominican Republic driving, I think this:
more like 37 people on a motorcycle or in the back of a truck, super narrow, two lane roads, that are packed in the cities and winding/hilly/raining everywhere else, no speed limits...all bets are off
