My first ever box break of Select was last year's version (pulled a Worthy Gold Patch and a Paul George Gold Base). So, I already headed in knowing this year's box is MORE than likely not going to live up to last year's box. And it didn't, lol. But I'm happy with my hits. Except for the dual jersey of the Nuggets players. I'd toss that back at Panini and take a gamble @ what they'd send me back.
Chris Paul USA Basketball Base (lone USA Basketball card in the box)
"Concourse" Base Rookie Cards: PJ Hairston, Dante Exum, Bruno Caboclo, Aaron Gordon
"Premier Level" Base Rookie Cards: Lucas Nogueira and
Clint Capela (This young buck played good in the minutes he was given in the playoffs)
Jabari Parker
Parallel RCs:
Kyle Anderson "Premier Level Base - Light Blue Prizm Die-Cut #54/199
Elfrid Payton "Courtside Base - Blue and Silver Prizm"
"Premier Level" Base Prizms: Alonzo Mourning and
Karl Malone
Magic Johnson "Premier Level - Blue and Silver Prizm"
Tyson Chandler "Premier Level - Purple Prizm Die-Cut" #88/99
"Concourse Level" Base Prizms: Rudy Gay, Al Jefferson and
Patty Mills
Rudy Gay "Concourse Level - Blue and Silver Prizm"
Giannis Antetokounmpo "Concourse Level - Purple and White Prizm"
Nerlens Noel "Concourse Level - Tie-Dye Prizm" #23/25
Memorabilia Card: Arron Afflalo and Kenneth Faried "Double Team - Copper Prizm" #8/49
Autograph Cards:
Shabazz Napier Autograph RC #179/275 (Nice clean card, like his signature too. The few uses of white and where they used white make this card pop. Happy with the pull, it would seem Miami likes him since they traded away Norris Cole.)
Dennis Schroder Autograph Jersey Card #105/199 (Sucks this is a sticker auto and that he went off sticker a wee bit. He's another solid PG that I'm happy to pull. He played good in the playoffs, shows no fear. Very solid backup point for the Hawks.)
Again, I was happy with the box. I really liked Panini's designs and parallels and overall break so much so that I decided I'd try a second box. Look for the Round 2 thread where this time I hit a gold autograph and a lot more color.
