Howdy,

I am slowly getting a few vintage cards for my PC and thinking about getting some graded cards.
This has probably been brought up before, but what is the most preferred grading for Vintage cards (ie; 1960, etc..) is PSA more desirable in the long term versus SGC? I am debating on obtaining a SGC graded card.

Thanks in advance.

PSA to sell vintage, the other to protect it looks nicer
Psa is probably first choice by most collectors (not me though, I prefer bgs/bvg). It is my opinion that the big 3, (bvg, psa and sgc) are all solid grading services.
I go by this rule
Pre War SGC
Vintage PSA
Modern 1980- Current year BGS

Yep that is probably what everyone goes for but I do like BGS/BVG as well and i think its protects cards the best. For some reason cards move inside PSA holders, I dont know about SGC since Ive never owned one graded by them.
My opinion SGC just has the best looking slabs. If these are yours to keep I'd go that way.

+1. Although I must say I prefer BVG over PSA on post war cards, they just don't sell as well.
