I'm a set collector and have a goal of putting together the base set for Prizm each year it is released. I went by my LCS today and grabbed the two boxes they had left. I was hoping to get 4, so the extra cash burning a hole in my pocket went to the Titanium. This LCS rarely has the high end stuff for basketball so when I saw the NT I decided to grab it. I had no intention of going that large, but it was there and I had the money so I took a shot.

Being a base set collector I am very happy to say that I have zero doubles in two boxes. Well done Panini. Why do some of the Prizm cards have a watermark look in the background and others do not?

But that National Treasures box looks like fun, congrats!

Looks like you did good on the NT. I put together the Prizm set last year, not sure I will do it this year. I am thinking about back-tracking to put together the 2012-13 Prizm set, since box prices have been dropping.

Dang man! IS the Bennett available? Also interested in the CP3 Prizm inserts if you move them. Looks like a fun break, I was surprised to see NT! Did you LCS have a decent price on them?

Haha, it was definitely a fun break. I never though I would bust NT but I have seriously cut back on wax over the past 12 months so I went for it. The LCS match the major online sellers which is a good deal since my LCS uses a distributor for Panini as opposed to being a direct Panini dealer. The Prizm was fun as well, but I don't think I'll go back to that well for a while. The last two years I busted a bunch of Prizm when it was released (over 1/2 a case each time). This year I have a feeling I will be able to grab boxes at a discount to complete my base set given the significantly decreased resale value of singles. I sold a LeBron 13-14 Gold last year for 750.00 and that financed my wax fever for months nth instead you won't see that value at all IMO.

Great stuff form the NT box. I think that Jimmer has a good look to it. It's hard to step up and buy a box of NT... on the one hand I say oh that's got some Great stuff... then the price stares me down. But you came away with a decent haul I'd say.

I watched a break of Hobby Prizm by Chris Justice at the Hobby box and he said the water marked cards are the short prints. Don't know if he is right but He knows a lot about cards.
