But if my past actions haven't shocked you, I know this will lol.
As many of you know, I've been running a business, American Mantiques, out of my home for a couple years now, as a side project to keep my sports card budget funded.
Well, it's time to change the idea slightly and go big! My wife and I recently relocated to the Detroit area, and in my city, which is full of middle/upper middle class sports fanatics and boaters...the nearest REAL lcs is on the OTHER side of the D, and roughly 45 minutes away. Purely by accident, I was looking at retail space, and it's dirt cheap here, averaging out to about a buck per square foot. I learned my trade in Traverse City, where if you wanted good retail space, even a small store was going to run you five to ten grand!
I think...it's time for Justin to finally give in...and open an LCS!
Now if only I hadn't sold my entire collection, I'd already have an inventory lol!
