...And it makes me wonder if it's ALL like this.

I watched this "big spender" father/son team crack 3 cases, and they pulled the same players OVER and OVER. Even multiple copies of the same card!!

The guy pretty much became a Chet Pickard Supercollector, all in one afternoon, whether he wanted to or not! He pulled multiple Rcs, a 1/1 plate, and a DISGUSTING Mammoth Patch /3.

Also pulled I think 3-4 copies of the same Lindros patch/auto.

One other thing, did UD do any RPA /99?? They didn't pull a single one from 3 cases! Multiple hand numbered to players jersey number, but nothing /99.
I did 2 cases and my story is the same. Jussi Rynnas and Reilly Smith for me. I got 3 Reilly Smith Rookie Auto patches form a 6 box case, disgusting to me. I have every card just about of Rynnas from The Cup and Ultimte. Overall the Monumental Patches are amazing. It was fun, but coalition is really bad this year. almost lazy looking.
That sounds like a rough couple of breaks, and I would personally be writing Upper Deck. That is thousands of dollars spent on second-rate breaks. Collation is not their strong point, as you either get a bum case or the hottest one you can think of!

A guy on HI did pull the entire Sakic Nameplates set in one box... (??!?!?)
The mammoth patch must look sweet
The Sakic was from a "hot pack" where all of the letters were in the same pack. I think there are about 5 of these hot packs (including one Crosby).
I think They loaded the cup up this year to address the poor rookie crop. It seems every case has something spectacular includinge Mario, Gretzky or Orr.

The ones busting in our store were all A++++.

I will copy over the last case from Saturday in the break section.
Only 3 rookies numbered /99 in this release...so you're talking about less than 300 tins have a #/99 RPA so not hitting one is common.
