I was at my local minor league park a few days ago and saw a small pile of minor league sets sitting on a table in the gift shop. They were all from 2012 and selling for a buck a piece. I figured I'd take a shot and see what I get. I got 6.
'12 Batavia Muckdogs -cardinals(no one notable)
'12 Connecticut Tigers -tigers (no one jumping out at me)
'12 Daytona Cubs- cubs (no big names but some that I've heard of)
'12 Great Lake Loons- Dodgers (Pratt Maynard, Ralston Cash, and a few more decent prospects)
came with a small subset of "The All Time Loons". Set included Clayton Kershaw, Carlos Santana, Dee Gordon, Zach Lee, Carlos Santana, Jerry Sands and a couple more.
The last couple were the best of the bunch-
'12 Salem Red Sox (Matt Barnes, Xander Bogaerts, Jackie Bradley Jr, Brandon Workman, Sean Coyle,)
'12 Syracuse Chiefs (only one big name - Bryce Harper)
I kinda like minor league sets.
