I actually like them, for whatever reason. I used to not really care for them, but then I got a couple of Pacific Nights cards at my lcs when Pacific had a hobby night. I haven't ever seen it done before, but anybody who wanted to play in a round would buy a pack of cards, then the Pacific rep would say something like "OK who has the PIM" or "Who has the most career goals", and then whoever pulled a card with that would get to pick one of the prizes that Pacific had brought with them. I pretty much ruled the whole night, got a couple of nice Kovalchuk cards that were /2000, two of the /10 Pacific Nights cards (Lindros and Bure), and a Warner/Faulk/Holt/Bruce Pacific quad GU card. I won like 7 more times after that, but it was mostly baseball and football stuff so I was giving the winning card to young kids to let them pick stuff.
