Beckett Message Boards

I was at the Bullseye store with my wife last night for some home goods. I figured I would check out the cards and see if there was anything that caught my attention. They had three of those repackage deals for $12 each so I grabbed them. If you are not familiar they are 10 packs for $12.
Here is a cumulative of the packs that were included:

It is a veritable assortment of crap and some decent products.THis is what I came up with.



For $36 I wasn't really looking for anything I just wanted to bust some cheaper packs. I did and it was fun. On top of it I go a few nice cards(namely the Rose and Blake).

Those are always fun!!! I don't even open the worthless packs like early skybox, hoops and fleer. I got STACKS of those things in my closet Someday I tell ya they will be worth more than a shiny nickel.

Love these. I pick them up whenever I have the chance and they've been pretty kind to me. Especially the Studio cards - they've been real nice.

I pulled my only 1/1 out of one of those, great fun!

As a warning, the baseball ones are pretty awful. Picked up a few of them and the best thing I got was a Topps Heritage Chrome. Stopped with them immediately. Haven't picked up a football or hockey one.

Hey! Don't hate on the early skybox, I need a few to finish the set! A few months ago I grabbed two boxes off a website for a grand total of 5 bucks. I am short about 5 cards to finish off the set.

Haha. That's why I bought the boxes a few months ago. Im the same age and The first ever single I bought was the Larry Bird at a Flea market under the Shaw's in Weymouth. I grabbed it for like 2.50 (huge money to me at the time) and I still have it. I should have driven up to Lowell to show it off.

You would have been the envy of Pawtucket memorial bro. Same thing with the next years skybox and the team USA cards. Do you remember those too??
