To the naked eye I thought it looked good but with a deeper scan not so sure. What grade do you think this would get?

It's tough to look at the surface on the scan, but looking at the corners and edges only I would be concerned of an 8-8.5.

8 maybe. right edge doesn't look great.

scan of the front appears to be cut off on the left side, so hard to judge centering.

I'd say 8-8.5 but kinda hard to tell from the scans. corners are pretty rough.
