Anybody every have any dealings with SCD - Sports Cards Direct grading company?

I am looking at trading for a Bird/Magic RC and my concern is not if the grade will cross over to the same grade in PSA or BVG, but whether or not the card is authentic.

So any experiences you have had with this company would be helpful and also any knowledge you have about there ever being any fake Bird/Magic RC's in the market and what to look for to spot one.
I hope this helps:

"Sports Collectors Digest Authentic (SCD) - now out of the grading business, SCD was generally considered to be a reputable and accurate service. On the open market, you will still find the odd SCD graded card, distinguishable by the red logo on the silver label. CAUTION: there is a new "SCD" (Sports Cards Direct) that uses a similar silver label but with blue logo. This new service is not considered to be a reputable grading company."

I remember the magazine, the cards graded were good. But slabs can be faked!
Pretty much spot on there. SCD as in Sports Cards Direct is a waste and I wouldn't buy anything graded by them (they definitely graded some fakes).
