My grandfather and I are both huge Atlanta Braves fans (along with many others in our family), and I'm always showing him my newest pickups (especially vintage) and we're always talking about recent trades, Braves news, etc. He's been a fan of the Braves since he was young (favorite player was Warren Spahn), and it's been passed down through our family to myself, who had taken it a step further with collecting.

I had always wanted to get a tattoo of his initials after he passed away, (he hasn't, no worries!), and I knew it would mean a lot to him....but I figured, why not get the tattoo while he's alive and well to appreciate it!

So, for Christmas, I was given money to go and get it. I chose, rather than to simply get an initial tattoo, that I would make it even better, and I got this:

I always wanted to get this retro Braves logo as a tattoo, as I've always liked the logo and thought it would be a great tattoo. So, I combined the two!

Is that redness supposed to be there OR is it infected?

Neither actually, though I could certainly see why you'd think infection.

This is immediately after I got the tattoo (like I stood up from the chair and got a picture)....the red area is light shading, which is now healed up and is now gray instead of red. He just hit the red areas pretty hard with shading and it made the skin red, and the shading isn't dark enough to cover the redness.
