I have numerous graded barry bonds, sammy sosa, mark mcgwire, randy johnson, and players of the sort. i was wondering if it's worth holding on to these cards, or should i just let them go and update my collection? Do you see the values going up for these cards, or have they reached their peaks?
With retired players their cards stay pretty steady unless they actually do something great off the feild or something really bad of the field.
Players like you named have an abundance of graded cards out there on the open market so no real value or demand for them. If you do sell you probably won't get what your wanting out of them as a result.

i think i might list them on the bay and set a reserve. if they dont sell, oh well. if they do, i can put that $$ towards ravel santana!
I would start the initial bid higher rather than set a reserve. Reserves drive a lot of collectors away
Personally, I'd hold on to them.
but if their careers are over, their values cant go anywhere but down... right?
They will likely stay steady. If they become HOFers, though, there will be a spike in value.
Most of em are barry bonds & sammy sosa. There's really no chance of them getting in...lol
True, but I was talking about Randy Johnson and guys like that.
