One thing I will say for Ilitch ... he's not afraid to spend money. That's why I buy those $5 Little Caesar's pizzas all the time, to help him pay Fielder and Hunter LOL
I think they overpayed, but it is a nice pickup nonetheless.

$13 million a year isn't to bad. He made $18 million a year the last three years. He is a big upgrade over what we've had at the corner outfield spot. Batting him in the #2 spot will be good. We need a consistent hitter in that spot to get on for the big guns.
