Beckett Message Boards

So I've been checking out auctions of Bryce Harper rookie auto cards on eBay. Only thing is, all the autographs look different than the ones of pictures on google (Beckett doesn't have pictures yet). The ones on eBay are all a small signature in black ink, while on google they're all in blue ink and quite large.

The graded one is a facsimile signature. Not signed by anyone.

So this means the second one is signed by hand?

That's correct.

Blue one is signed by Harper, black one is just his signature printed on.

They use the facsimile "fake" auto on a lot of bowman products. Common newbie question

There was just an article on here the other day talking about how his signature has changed over the last few years from his team Usa stuff to current products.

I am a newb! But at least I ask questions instead on throwing money at worthless cards, right??

also the auto says above it, "Topps Certified Autograph Issue"
