I saw this a week ago on NFL network and now I want to hear your opinions on what active player that isn't a QB will be in the Hall of Fame one day. I'm gonna throw Larry Fitzgerald out there. He's 28 and around 5,000 yards away from the being top 5 all time in receiving yards in NFL history. He is one of the most gifted receivers Ive seen play the game. That's my nominee, lets hear what you think.
Ray Lewis will be a first ballot
Jason Taylor
Jake Long
Adrian Peterson
Brian Urlacher
Larry Fitzgerald
Calvin Johnson
Julius Peppers
Champ Bailey
Clay Matthews
Demarcus Ware
Brian Dawkins
Tony Gonzalez
Patrick Willis
Hines Ward
Troy Polamalu
Ray Lewis
Ed Reed

I jus knew you would start your list off with a few phins, lol. I like that you have a Packers on that list, but although Matthews is a beast, I'm jus not "quite" sold on him "just yet." I think he needs a few more big seasons yet.

How about Donald Driver? All the man does is produce week -n & week out?

Im thinking Antonio Gates gets in too.
Haloti Ngata - Ravens
Darrelle Revis - Jets
Jared Allen - Vikings
James Harrison - Steelers
Mike Pouncey -Steelers ( if he can stay healthy)
Nick Mangold- Jets

I know everyone was thinking it....

This ^^ ,
Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Peppers, Urlacher, Polamalu, Megatron, Champ Bailey, Fitzgerald, Gonzalez, Revis, AP, Patrick Willis, Charles Woodson, Dwight Freeney, Joe Thomas and a wild card as a KR/PR Hester
i dont know about fitz, to be truthful...he's from a pass-happy era, so comparing recv numbers to other generations seems...skewed

how much above the mean of his time is he compared to other hof'ers above the mean of their time?

art monk still isnt in, after all

and megatron: too early

receivers are gonna have a tough time getting into the HOF

ray lewis is an absolute mortal lock, as is tony gonzalez. AP is gonna have to have a couple more above average seasons (terrell davis: hof?)

did anyone mention randy moss? despite everything, i think he's probably is a HOF'er
