Good morning all!
As you can tell from my user name, I'm a 1969 Mets fan. Yesterday, I received a ticket stub from game 3 of the 1969 World Series:

The significance of this game is it's the only world series game that Nolan Ryan pitched in during his entire career. He came in in relief and pitched the final 2 1/3 innings as the Mets beat the Orioles 5-0.
I have 4 of the 5 stubs from that W.S. and will be picking up the stub from the 4th game in the near future.

jtraven42 - It just wasn't your year. The '69 Orioles were awesome, but the '69 Mets were awesomer.

Thanks Yeah my little boy just turned 2 and he sits with me when I watch the games. I even have him saying "Lets Go Mets" already. We have another little Mets fan due this July. My wife will be completely outnumbered as she will be the only girl with a husband trying to make his sons baseball lunatics
