So i've recently decided to finish up my 2007-08 Ultra set. Seems like i'm never going to be able to trade for these cards, so i went to the almighty Ebay. I've been purchasing cards and paying some pretty good coin for them. However, I've noticed something on the cards i've been getting. They are all the RC's, mainly the 250's-270's. I see a yellow stripe on the bottom of them. Same spot on all of them. Was this a printing error? I know some of the cards say they were 'redemption' and they all have yellow stripe. So if this stripe is not on purpose, Do you think it'd decrease the value of the card?

i have that on a few cards from that set i figure it was just an error or something

hopefully someone can answer the other questions

im blind i dont see a yellow stripe...oh there it is lol you really have to look

nice Carey Price card...i opened a few cases of Ultra back then and never pulled a single Carey Price out of those

I had to purchase off EBAY. I opened probably 100 packs and never pulled a price...or any card above 250

nothing above 250 with 100 packs? ouch...you should have pulled about 4 of them with that (assuming hobby)

251-271 where all redemptions. I just pulled 2 redemptions for Price this last weekend and was still able to redeem them, also pulled a Marc Staal.

Pens: Let me know if they have a yellow stripe, if not, i'd love to trade for one of them

they are still taking in 07-08 ultra redemptions really? I'll have to double check to see if i have any thanks....

Yes the redemptions are still good from 07-08. Have a Bernier about 5 weeks ago and I received it within 2 weeks. One funny thing is that 08-09 will not let you redeem and tells you the redemption is expired.
