Well it was a difficult decision, but after seeing the new release of SPGU and the cards included....Ive decided to end my Maxime Talbot collection. I will still be picking up those cards of him pictured in a Penguins uniform...........but just cannot bear to spend ANY money on Flyers stuff.....let alone those ones limited to /3..../6 and having to spell out the FLYERS with team marks......I just cant do it.
INSTEAD, I will be focusing more on my Joe Vitale PC.
With that said...Max is still one of my favorite players......but I bid you 'a dieu from my collection as a hated Flyer..

good choice... as a Wings fan, much happier to see him in Philly than Pittsburgh, but I think you're wise to focus on Pens Max!
Yes, Id Much rather spend money on Pens game worn jerseys than limited print Flyers cards.....i just cant justify spending big money on any FLyer card.....unfortunately not even max...and then on top of it put a FLYERS nameplate in my collection.....NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!!!!!!!!

Vitale seems to be playing well. I don't know if I could continue collecting Backstrom or Neuvirth if he were traded to the Pens....haha! You still have a great Talbot PC though!
Very tough decision to make. I'm not sure if I'd be able to continue collecting Oshie if he went to another team. He only signed a 1 year deal before the season started, so I'm a little concerned myself
Initially I thought is be able to continue....but SPGU sealed that fate today with the cards they have made for him. Trust me, its not an easy decision by far...but I'm a DIE HARD Pens fan so something had to give!
And Flyers Talbot was the victim.
It is a sad day Hugh, but I totally understand, agree and support you decision. I know that you by far are his #1 collector.

Wow, how sad...I even collected Hextall cards when he was with the Nordiques and hated Islanders. I wish you all the luck in the world with Vitale. Go Orange and Black!

I was going to try......but the combination of low print cards.....a flyers uniform .... My pc of vitale and addiction to fame worn jerseys.......Flyers talbot list out. I knew it was especially time to quit when I actually contemplated getting his GW set 2 and playoff gamers....had to put a stop to it!
