I was wondering what the majority would choose
1. The official "RC" of a player from a set
or
2. A more rare and higher valued parallel version to the "RC" from the same set?
For the sake of the question keep all other factors equal. Same auto, same patch, same condition, etc.
True rc. Im more of a true rc collector anyway but I have seen many times that the true rc will actually sell higher than the rarer parallel if the player does well. So it being more rare, doesnt mean its more valuable. So I would just rather have the true rc.
Rarer the better, I want less people to have what I got
True RC doesn't matter to me. If the card is from his rookie year its all the same. I'd go for the rarer one.
If they were the same price, I would go with the rarer one. Better chance that you could find the less rare one down the road if you really needed/wanted to while the rarer one would be harder to find. Having that exact issue right now with completing my Jim Leonhard Leaf R&S Rainbow.
Both of em
I would take the rarer one.

+1 then you wouldn't even have to ask the question
The true RC, the rest are parallels
