From the big names im missing a few, Mantle, Mays and Clemente and I think the rest are mostly commons. Yeah im in Venezuela thats why I have a little more access to finding the ones im missing, but the majority I got from my dad and Ive wanted to complete the set ever since. Glad you liked them!!!
I lived in Maracaibo in the 70's. Great time, people, and food. I collected back then, but knew nothing about the Venezuelan issues. I plan to set up a photobucket one day to share some of my Venezuelans, I'll keep you posted.
Sure man, id love to see them!!! I buy a few every month hoping to finish the set someday!
Picked up a few more today.......

Very nice pickups and players. 64s are harder to find in decent condition compared to pre-64 or 66 Venezuelans.

Thanks! Yeah its been impossible for me to find them in better condition, oh well these will have to do lol. I dont mind, I just want to complete the 350 card set which is really quite hard!! Im going hunting for more this weekend lol
I just passed the 75% completion mark with my 1966 Topps Venezuelan set, officially at 77.8. I should be passing the 80% mark over the next week or two, then it's going to get a lot tougher. Hope to have a photobucket of the set one day in the not so distant future, unless Beckett for some miraculous reason fixed the registry and added photo posts as a feature.
good luck on the rest.looking good

Thanks!!! Counted today after buying 13 more I needed. Im 118 away from the set of 370. The big names Im still missing are Mantle, Mays and Clemente. I figure those will be the hardest to find. Ill keep the post updated

Congratulations, looks like we're both going down the stretch on our 64 and 66 sets. Hope you land a great Clemente, Mantle, and Mays. I just picked up a 64 VZ Yaz myself. I'm a huge Yaz fan and thought I would never find one in decent shape, even though the focus is off. Hope to share it in a photobucket soon.

Do you ever use Mercado Libre? It's been a while since I looked but noticed some Topps Venezuelans posted there in the past.
Probably a better way to display the 64 Yaz but here's link to Picasa. Only 12 graded by PSA and 2 by BVG. Highest grade in either is a 6. This one is out of focus/bad registration but hard to find.
