I don't know if this has been posted anywhere, but what are your top 3-5 collecting goals for 2012?
Mine are
1. Get a 2002 Bowman Chrome Joe Mauer autograph
2. Get 10 more unique Denard Span autographs- Shouldn't be too bad, currently have 7
3. Get my Joe Mauer collection over 400 unique cards. Have just over 200 right now
4. Buy or trade for autographs of Rod Carew, Harmon Killebrew, Tony Oliva, Kent Hrbek. Puckett will have to wait
5. Bring my Denard Span collection to about 150-200 unique cards. I only have 41 right now
2013 Goals
1. Bust a case of something
1. Get a Kirby Puckett auto
1) Pick up the '55 Topps Clemente RC and wrap up that year's set.
2) Wrap up my collection of MOH/BS/SS/PH medal recipients.
2) Pick up a T206 Cy Young Portrait.
3) Continue working on my '58 Topps set that I just recently started.
4) Continue working on my '72 Topps set that I just recently started.
5) Pick up some pre-war type cards of Red Sox players.
1) Complete at least one of my Allen & Ginter N43 Autograph sets
2) Pick up the following 2012 Bowman Chrome Anthony Rendon auto variations: base, refractor, blue refractor, gold refractor
3) Flip my Jason Heyward and/or Julio Teheran collections for a tidy profit
4) Add a 2011 Bowman Draft Chrome Dylan Bundy Gold Refractor auto and AFLAC auto
5) Complete the 2000 SPx Signatures set (just started, only have 3/15 thusfar, but Jeter is the only >$100 card in the set)
My goal is to get 500 unique Kevin Youkilis cards. I currently have 310 plus more coming in the mail, so this shouldn't be too hard.
One of my 2011 goals was to hunt down the ever so rare dufex Thomas card and the Auburn Thomas card. It wasn't looking good but it appears I have today agreed to terms on a trade that will bring me both. I won't have them in hand in 2011 but this is close enough for comfort to me.
2012
1. Knock of at least 5 cards (1 rare) per month from my pre-1996 Frank Thomas list
2. Acquire every Jeff Francoeur Royals card not listed as a 1/1
3. Acquire every Alcides Escobar Royals card not listed as a 1/1
4. Acquire every Kila Ka'aihue in a Royals uniform not yet acquired with a print run over 1 (may be a tough one)
5. Build a Rainbow from Super to base (did one in 2011)
Some good goals.
My goal is to NOT break anything until Summertime (This will be hard with the itch)
Finding that buying singles is the way to go for the most part, unless you can get your hands a good deal. Would however LOVE to have the money to blow and bust a case of Triple Threads.
My Goals for 2012 are
1 Trying to get every Kaleb Cowart card except 1/1's
2 Have 100+ UD Sweet Spot autos on ball, wood or leather
3 Get 75+ Different Cardinal Player autos pack certified.
Doesnt seem to difficult but I am going to try and do it off of here and my LCS.

My goals for 2012 are:
1) get my chipper pc up to 1000 different cards
2) build up my trade bait and make more trades
I don't have any other goals for next year right now, but I may think of some as the year progresses.
