Nice hit! 07 is notorious for faded autos. It might have been the type of pen they used that year.
Hate the 07 for just that reason. Sorry man!

I have about twenty of the 07 myself that are now worthless.
Some pretty nice $60-$80 cards ruined by UD's lack of
research on pen type. It seems Upper Deck would make good
on them but I never tried checking on it.
BUTTT anyway congrats.
I always thought it was the leather type they used for the cuts that year. Not really faded but the sig bled into the leather.
Pulled a tony gwynn auto from that product that was faded real bad now that makes me think where the heck did i put that thing............
I only have 1 from '07 and it's fine. It's gold ink
I have a Lou Brock and its auto is barely noticeable. Kind of a bummer!
The material they used for the "baseball" in 2007 was horrible. The surface has a gloss to it that didn't absorb the ink very well.
